The Importance of Physical Activity for Children
Below are some infographics that detail the importance of being active. In these days of physical isolation it is critical to remain active for our physical, mental and emotional well being. Mr. Van Ritchie, Mr. MacDonald, and Mr. James encourage you to be active with your family for at least 60 minutes a day. In this website we have activities, assignments and other resources that can help you to stay active.
Below (left) is a link to the NS PE curriculum website. Also below (right) is a pdf file of the P-6 Physical Education curriculum at a glance document. It highlights rationale, competencies, indicators of success, concepts and guiding questions, developing skills for the primary to grade 6 students in PE.
